Bob's Steak & Chop House

Located in the Omni Hotel at 500 California Street across from the sculpted metal banker's heart in front of the former world headquarters of Bank of America sits a handsome import steak and chop house that serves up an outstanding burger. A clubby room with white linen, fine carpets and great service, this joint knows good beef and uses the best here. They carry this thinking out with the best ingredients and fixings money can buy which makes this a good value at the relatively high price they ask for their premium burger. They add a well balanced and fresh bun, lightly toasted, to the meat which is a huge portion and plate it on good china and add your choice of great cheese, melted perfectly, excellent fries or onion rings, fresh produce and top flight condiments. The fries here are worth noting as are the onion rings, and like I said it brings meaning to the phrase stolen by one of the fast food burger chaings when they advertise their 'Whopper' which is a whisper compared to this huge offering.
